Paper Procurement
Mitchell's Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certification with Preferred By Nature is recognized by the Rainforest Alliance (FSC® C011267).
FSC® certification offers the option to choose paper that has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. The Rain Forest Alliance was founded in 1993 in response to concerns about deforestation, now the FSC® certification with Preferred By Nature supports the growth of responsible forestry practices, and is recognized by the Rainforest Alliance. This assures consumers that they are buying a sustainable product.
We advise our clients on environmental best practices for publications, we work to minimize waste, reduce footprints and encourage sustainably managed paper choices.

Ancient and Endangered Forest Purchasing Policy:
Mitchell collaborated with not-for-profit Canopy to formulate guidelines for our paper procurement. This helps us increase our responsible paper FSC® and post-consumer waste paper purchases, including alternative fibres. It also provides guidelines for reducing carbon footprints and encourages our suppliers to protect and preserve ancient and endangered forests globally.
