At Mitchell Press, sustainability is more than a goal — it’s a core value woven into everything we do. We are proud to share our 2023 Sustainability Report, a detailed look at how we continue to grow as responsible leaders in the printing industry.
This year, our team made major strides toward our environmental goals. From achieving 100% FSC-certified paper use to partnering with PrintReleaf, allowing us to reforest over 65,000 trees, we’ve taken tangible steps to reduce our footprint.
Highlights from the report include:
- Being named Canada’s Most Environmentally Progressive Printing Company (2023)
- Reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 12.8%
- Launching initiatives like our Green Team, a Dumpster Dive waste audit, and a meat-free climate pledge
- Enhancing workplace diversity and inclusion, with a 43% increase in women employees since 2019
- Offsetting paper consumption through Certified PrintReleaf global reforestation projects
