What Is PrintReleaf?
PrintReleaf is a sustainability platform built for organizations that use paper and other fibre-based materials.
It measures the amount of paper used for a print project and calculates the equivalent number of trees needed to help offset that paper consumption. Those trees are then planted through certified reforestation projects around the world.
Put simply:
Your paper use is measured. The number of trees is calculated. Trees are planted through a certified reforestation project.
PrintReleaf also tracks and reports the results, so the contribution is measurable and documented rather than based on a general environmental claim.
How Mitchell’s PrintReleaf Program Works
PrintReleaf is automatically included with your print project. Mitchell records the amount of paper used and submits that information through the PrintReleaf platform.
From there, the platform calculates the equivalent number of trees to be planted. You can then choose from a selection of certified global reforestation projects.
Depending on the project and your organization’s priorities, you may choose to support reforestation closer to home or select a project in another part of the world.
Once the contribution has been assigned, the results are added to your customer dashboard.
